News Updates

Recently I was out shopping with my kids at our local mall. We passed one particular store where my son knows there is an elaborate toy train set that he loves to play with. He asked me if he could play with it before we left the mall, and I agreed.

Tamale is the capital of the northern region of Ghana. It is said to be the 3rd largest city in the country and one of the fastest-growing cities in West Africa. In January 1987, exactly 30 years ago, CfaN held a Great Gospel Campaign here. It was an amazing event that influenced the whole region greatly. Now though a new generation has grown up in Tamale and they also need to hear the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Is it possible that you have already discovered God’s will for your life but have not been willing to recognise it as such? Sometimes people miss something that is right in front of them because what they are looking for does not appear the way they expected it to.

It used to be standard practice for large companies to “headhunt” talented executives from prestigious universities or other successful companies for senior positions. But more and more I have noticed that it is becoming the policy of many large companies to promote from within.

It is interesting that when people ultimately discover what God has called them to do, often they look back and see that God had placed many things in their lives early on to prepare them for their calling.

1-4 December 2016

We are back in Africa for another Gospel campaign which began today here in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso. The last time our ministry was in this region was 1991. Since the median age is 16.5, and most of those attending these meetings would not have attended the last time, it is surprising how much good will remains from those meetings all these years later even though a new generation is on the scene now.

We return to Ghana in 2016 after our last campaign in 2015. This time we are in the city of Sunyani. The local pastors and leaders are very excited, they keep telling us this has never happened here before!
