I am writing to you today with an urgent need. We need your prayers, and we need your help. Since the beginning of the year, we’ve had teams in Zambia, preparing the ground for the next Decapolis. And this time, with the incredible enthusiasm of the local churches (which you can read about below), our hope was to hold campaigns in ten cities – a full “Decapolis” for the first time.

But with a heavy heart, we’ve had to reduce the number of cities to 5 and postpone to September. And even that is hanging in the balance right now, all solely due to finances. The enemy has seen the same thing we’ve seen – that Zambia is ripe for harvest. And he’s doing everything he can to stop it.

We have already invested months of time and a great deal of money preparing for this Decapolis. The local churches are so fired up that they are fundraising themselves in each city, utterly committed. However, we are not there yet.

We believe that reaching all 10 cities is still possible! In faith, we’ve carried on with the organisation for all 10, trusting that the Lord will provide in time.

So, I am reaching out to you with this earnest plea. Will you stand by their side and ours, and help us go to the 10 cities that have called on us to come? Every donation, big or small, is crucial right now. This is our window of opportunity, and it is closing fast.

Evangelist Jared Horton joined the team in Zambia, where he saw firsthand how the preparations are going…

“My time in Zambia was wonderful. What is amazing is that each Gospel Campaign has a Gospel Invasion committee for the very first time. I went to all ten cities. In each city, I met with the Gospel Invasion committees, and I had a schedule and plan set up for all of them. But every time I arrived, they already had their own schedule and plan. Basically, they’re way ahead of the game with what needs to be done.

With months to go until the campaigns, they already had the marketplaces laid out. They already had a plan for what we’re going to do. We’ve never seen this level of engagement and organization locally before. Literally all our evangelists have to do, is just show up in the morning, grab a microphone and preach the Gospel. And they’ll be doing that approximately 75 times – in every city! That’s 750 pre-campaign outreaches, where we know that many will be saved, healed and delivered, before the Gospel Campaign even begins.

One of the things I’m most excited about is the way that the 20 guest evangelists (mostly Bootcamp graduates) will be interacting with the local churches. For the first time, CfaN will be conducting “Empowerment Weekends” to inspire, train and encourage believers, especially those with a calling to evangelism. There will be two of these special weekends in each city.

On the Friday night, there’ll be teaching and ministry, with the aim of seeing everyone get fire-baptised in the Holy Spirit. The next morning, they’re going to wake up. They’re going to receive evangelism training from one of our Bootcamp graduates. Then the locals are going to go out to the streets, preach the Gospel, and heal the sick. On the Sunday, these churches will have a celebration of all that God has done over the weekend with the people who attended these empowerment encounters. I believe that’s going to be very powerful and fruitful.

I see this as a great opportunity for Zambian pastors and church leaders to identify young evangelists who are on fire for God. They’ll be able to spend time with CfaN evangelists, benefit from teaching and mentoring, and take part in outreaches together. Once CfaN leaves the area, our hope is that these local evangelists will continue to operate in their churches as Outreach Coordinators.” Jared Horton

• Pray for wisdom and guidance for the promotional team, for opportunity and favour as they get the word out
• Pray for the technical team as they meet the challenge of serving Gospel Campaigns with great distances between them
• Pray for the souls in Zambia - pray that their hearts are ready to hear the voice of Jesus
• Pray for the finances to make this all possible

Over and over again, we have heard from pastors and bishops in Zambia who got saved and filled with the Holy Spirit at a CfaN campaign back in the 90’s. This is the kind of fruit we want to see – where yesterday’s converts are today’s ministers and church leaders. We are believing God for just such a rich and fertile harvest in Zambia in 2022.
