A WALKING TESTIMONY

Dear Misson Partners,

Tonight Evangelist Bonnke preached a powerful message about "The Prison of Sin.' He told the people that Jesus had not come to make the prison cell more comfortable for the prisoners '“ He has come to set them free. "The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not a Gospel of renovation or decoration, but of liberation!'

After the message, I prayed for the sick and wonderful miracles took place.  A young lady whose wrist had been operated on came to the meeting tonight with her fingers frozen and immobile. She showed me the scar on her wrist from the surgeon's knife. But tonight, Jesus healed her hand and her fingers now move freely. But the healing of her hand is not the greatest miracle she received; she was also born again and is now a Child of God. This is the greatest miracle of all.

Another woman, deaf in her left ear for four years, was healed tonight and can hear perfectly.

A woman's tumour vanished during the prayer for the sick and many people who had painful stomach ulcers, some who were suffering from constant pain for many years, were instantly healed!

We also heard an amazing testimony from a woman who came to a CfaN Gospel Campaign in the nearby city of Kibera almost 20 years ago. At that time, she was paralysed from the waist down and crawled on all fours everywhere she went. She told us how she had crawled for many miles to the campaign field on her hands and knees, through water and mud, believing she would receive her healing. When she came onto the campaign ground, she was covered in mud and filth, but the power of God hit her and all paralysis left her body. She was totally and completely healed and has been walking perfectly ever since. She came all the way from Mombasa tonight (over 300 miles) to give God the glory! She came as a "Walking Testimony' of God's love and power. Praise the Lord!

Tomorrow is already the final day of the Fire Conference. Please keep praying for us and for all of the pastors here that will come expecting to receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

UHURU!

Dear Mission Partners,

This morning, the Fire Conference came to a grand finale. As always, Peter van den Berg ministered to the people with great unction, so much so, that by the time I got up to preach, the delegates were practically bursting at the seams. Many were dramatically baptised into the Holy Spirit. It was a powerful morning that laid the groundwork for what was to come this evening.

It is interesting that our Gospel campaign is being held at Uhuru Park, perhaps the most iconic open-air venue in Nairobi. 'Uhuru' means 'freedom' in Swahili, what an appropriate name.  Tonight I preached about the blood of Jesus, we burned barrels of occult objects, I called the local curses out by name and took authority over them and broke them in Jesus' name.

Afterward, two of the top church leaders here in Kenya came to me separately and both said the same thing '“ they told me that nothing like this has ever happened in Nairobi before. They told me that many of the Christians have been afraid of witch doctors and in some cases animism and traditional beliefs have even crept into the churches. They told me that what we were doing (burning the fetishes and publicly renouncing witchcraft) represented a monumental breakthrough for the Body of Christ in Nairobi. And this was confirmed by the overwhelming response of the people.

After the curses were broken, we saw how miracles took place all over the field. Several people came out of wheelchairs, a little boy's deaf ear opened, a woman's tumour disappeared and another woman's painful fibroids disappeared. The testimonies were actually too many to tell, but one thing is certain, 'uhuru' (freedom) has come to Nairobi through the precious blood of Jesus Christ!

A SPIRITUAL LANDMARK

Dear Mission Partners,

Tonight's meeting was amazing! The president of Kenya, President Uhuru Kenyatta, attended the campaign together with his deputy and their wives. The meeting was broadcast on live television to the entire country and even beyond in east Africa. The President addressed the crowd and publicly asked for forgiveness for those whom he had wronged and also forgave those who had wronged him. It was a powerful speech. Afterward, he stayed with his deputy and listened to the preaching of the Gospel.

I preached about repentance, restitution and the changed life that accompanies salvation. I challenged the people to follow Jesus no matter what the cost and many thousands responded wholeheartedly. The church leaders said that they believe this campaign is a spiritual landmark for the nation.

After the preaching of the Gospel we prayed for the crowd to receive the Baptism into the Holy Spirit. There was a powerful outpouring followed by healings and miracles. When I asked how many had experienced a supernatural miracle of healing in one of the services this week, literally thousands of people raised their hands. Jesus has done more this week than we will ever know and there is still more to come. Praise the Lord!

UHURU PARK PACKED

June 9, 2013

Dear Mission-Partners,

Today the Gospel Campaign here in Nairobi, Kenya came to a climax as 220,000 packed Uhuru Park to absolute capacity. In fact, the venue was so full that unfortunately, many people were unable to get in. Those that were there however received a mighty blessing '“ including our whole team. What a privilege it is to preach the Gospel under any circumstances, but how much more to people who are hungry, open and receptive. Many thousands received Christ tonight and many more were supernaturally healed. In fact I even heard that miracles were taking place during the preaching!

We heard the testimony of a woman who had HIV AIDS. After the prayer for those with HIV yesterday, she went for a blood test today and brought the diagnosis from the lab to the meeting tonight. I read it with my own eyes, 'HIV NEGATIVE!'

One precious 'mamma' was blind and received her sight tonight. She was overcome with emotion as she gave her testimony and we were all rejoicing with her.

A beautiful young lady had paralysis on her right side because of a stroke, but tonight she was totally healed and praised the Lord that now she can walk gracefully like she used to.

Another woman testified that she had breast cancer. Last night as the meeting was closing I told the people, 'If you have not yet received your miracle, don't worry about it many of you will be healed on your way home tonight.' She said that as she was walking home, suddenly she felt a cold sensation come over her breast and she remembered what I had said. She checked herself out and realised that everything was normal she was healed!

This week has been a very special week for all of us. I was so happy that my wife and my parents were also here with us along with a large group of guests from literally around the world. We are all rejoicing this week at what the Lord has done and we have been praying, and thanking the Lord for you our precious friends and partners who continually stand with us, shoulder to shoulder in this great harvest of souls. You will be partakers in the Heavenly reward.
