BREAKTHROUGH IN BANGKOK! - THAILAND

Dear Mission Partners,

The past few months have been a powerful time of sowing into fresh ground in the nation of Thailand. We have been working together with EveryOne Thailand (under the leadership of Mattheus van der Steen, who is also our CfaN School of Ministry director!) and a conglomerate of ministries, all with a vision to see Thailand turn to Jesus. Across this beautiful nation, millions have heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

It was my privilege to preach at both the first and the last campaigns of this amazing initiative. We kicked things off last year November with a CfaN Gospel Campaign in Chiang Rai, and since then, in addition to our recent campaign in Ubon Ratchathani, we’ve also had Bootcamp graduates leading initiatives in Sisaket and Pattaya. These included open-air campaigns, Gospel Invasions (literally hundreds of outreaches over months flooding whole regions with the Gospel) and youth campaigns. Thousands have made the decision to follow Jesus in this time – literally doubling and even tripling the number of Christians in some of these regions!

This past weekend, I had the joy of preaching in the final campaign in Bangkok. What a joyful time of salvation, healing and deliverance! It was a fitting end to this season of intensive evangelism in Thailand. As Evangelist Nathan Morris (who was also involved with EveryOne Thailand) commented: “Now, the baton has been passed. The Thai Church carries the flame, commissioned to take the fire of the Holy Spirit into every corner of the nation.”

Here are just a few of the many testimonies:

Three years ago, arthritis caused Somrak’s hands to freeze in a fist. She also suffered from back pain. But now she can open and close her hands, dance, wave, and shout “Hallelujah!” She is free from pain – Jesus has healed her.

For 10 years, Kachin used a cane to walk and could not walk without it. She came with a cane, but when we prayed, she received her healing. On the way to the platform, she threw the cane away. Now she can walk across the platform without any assistance - Jesus has healed her!

Aor had tinnitus in her ears, which caused ringing for three long years. She also had panic attacks triggered by loud sounds and would run away. But after we prayed for the sick, the ringing stopped – she has complete peace at last.

For 21 years, Nueng had problems in her leg, back, and knee, and she also came in with a cane. As we prayed for the sick, God began to touch her. All the pain disappeared, and she no longer needs the cane to walk. Now she can touch her toes, lift her arms, and move without any pain.
