Check out all of the incredible teams you can be a part of at Big Church Festival! You will have the opportunity to indicate the three teams you would most like to be a part of.

  • Access Team

Help make the festival welcoming and inclusive for everyone! As part of the Access Team, you could be greeting and hosting guests at the Accessible Campsite, answering questions in the festival village, or offering reassurance and support wherever it’s needed. Some team members will help with transport, driving wheelchair-accessible minibuses or buggies to move people and equipment. Perhaps you are fluent in BSL or Makaton, or know lots about wheelchair accessibility to ensure every guest feels included. Whatever your role, if you have a heart for making everyone feel at home, this is the perfect role for you to help ensure Big Church is open and accessible to all.

  • Response Team

Be the go-to team that keeps everything running smoothly! As part of the Response Team, you’ll jump in wherever help is needed, supporting volunteer teams across the site and making sure everything keeps moving seamlessly. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love teamwork, and enjoy making a real difference, this is the perfect role for you. Join the action, lend a helping hand, and help create unforgettable festival memories!

  • Host Team

Bring energy, warmth, and a friendly welcome! The Host Team at Big Church Festival is made up of amazing volunteers who like to serve others. As a team we focus on the guest experience, helping those attending the festival to have a great time in a safe way. You’ll not only greet thousands of festival-goers, but you’ll also be stationed around the festival site, late night venues and entrance gates. All these areas provide different opportunities within them, but every area has the same focus at its core. If you love meeting new people, enjoy being outdoors and thrive in lively environments, this could be the perfect role for you!

  • Attractions team

Bring the fun to life as part of the Attractions Team! You’ll be at the heart of the excitement, helping everyone enjoy our onsite rides and attractions. From managing queues and handling payments to engaging with families, your energy and enthusiasm will ensure that every visitor has an unforgettable experience.

  • Accreditation Team

Be the first friendly face our guests meet! As part of the Accreditation Team, you’ll welcome hundreds of contractors and traders, checking them in, issuing passes, and making sure everyone is ready for the festival. Working alongside a fantastic team, you’ll create a warm, efficient, and memorable arrival experience that sets the tone from the very start. This role requires previous attendance at Big Church Festival.

  • Info Point Team

The go-to team for answers, support, and guidance! As part of the Info Point Team, you’ll help guests with everything from reuniting lost items, to providing a reassuring voice when they’re unsure where to go. Your support and reassuring presence will make a real difference to their festival experience. If you love helping people and being at the heart of the action, this is the perfect role for you!

  • Artist Merch Team

Bring the festival to life with the Artist Merch Team! You’ll help fans get their hands on exclusive artist merchandise, assist with artist signings, and share in the excitement of every sale. It’s a fun, people-focused role where you’ll connect with fellow festival lovers, celebrate the artists, and help create unforgettable memories for everyone, including yourself!

  • Ticketing Team

Be the gateway to the festival fun. As part of the Ticketing Team, you’ll greet guests as they arrive, helping thousands move through the gates smoothly and start their festival experience with excitement. Your energy, organisation, and positive attitude will make every arrival seamless and enjoyable, ensuring everyone steps into the festival ready for an amazing time.

  • Safeguarding Team

Help keep the festival safe and welcoming for everyone! As part of the Safeguarding Team, you’ll play a key role in supporting the well-being of all attendees, with a particular focus on vulnerable individuals. You’ll provide guidance, support, and a caring presence, helping to create a safe, inclusive, and joyful festival environment. We especially welcome those with safeguarding experience to join our team and make a real difference!

  • Fabrication Pre Event Support Team

Bring our festival sets and structures to life! As part of the Fabrication Team, you’ll help install and take down creative structures across the site. Whether you have trade skills to showcase or just a can-do attitude for hands-on work and heavy-lifting, there’s a spot for you. If you have a working-at-height certificate, your own tools, or PPE, that’s a bonus, but full support and guidance will be provided!

  • Volunteer Expo Stand Team

Be the face of volunteering in the Expo! As part of the Volunteer Expo Stand Team, you’ll share your experiences and stories about what it’s really like to volunteer at Big Church Festival. You’ll answer questions, inspire others, and invite them to join us for an unforgettable adventure in 2026. If you’re approachable, full of energy, and love spreading the magic of volunteering, this is the perfect role for you!

  • British Sign Language Team

Bring the festival to life through British Sign Language! As part of the BSL Interpreting Team, you’ll help everyone fully enjoy the festival experience and worship together in harmony. You’ll be interpreting at various stages, bringing the music and messages to life for our deaf and hard-of-hearing guests. Previous experience is essential, and flexibility is key, as our artists love to keep things spontaneous and full of energy!

  • Big Church Merch Team

Be at the heart of the festival with the Big Church Merch Team! You’ll help guests take home a piece of the Big Church experience, from stylish apparel to unique festival keepsakes. Chat with festival-goers, help them find the perfect item, and make their visit extra special. Previous til or card reader experience is helpful, but not necessary as full training will be provided.

  • Craft Team

Bring creativity and fun to the festival! Whether you’re a professional artist or just love being creative, there’s a role for you on the Craft Team. You’ll lead a variety of fun activities throughout the weekend, and full training will be provided. Join us to make memorable connections with festival-goers while spreading joy and creativity through crafts!

  • Programme Selling Team

Be the team that puts festival info in every guest’s hands! As part of the Programmes Team, you’ll be the friendly go-to person for anyone picking up their festival programme, helping them discover all the exciting experiences waiting at Big Church Festival. Join us in spreading the word and making sure no one misses out on the fun.

  • Phone Charging Team

Keep festival-goers powered up and connected! As part of the Phone Charging Team, you’ll help guests stay connected while they enjoy the weekend festivities. You’ll set up charging stations, assist with powering devices, handle cash and card payments, and keep the good vibes flowing all festival long. If you’re tech-savvy, enjoy meeting new people, and love being part of the action, this is the perfect role for you!

  • Sustainability Team

Join the team making our festival greener and cleaner! This small but mighty team is on a big mission to ensure our festival is as green and eco-friendly as possible! On the Sustainability Team, you’ll be at the forefront of exciting initiatives, helping to spread awareness and implement sustainable practices throughout the event. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves, get creative, and inspire others to care for our beautiful world, we want YOU on our team!

  • Volunteer Hub & Hospitality Team

Create a warm and welcoming space for our volunteer crew! As part of the Hub Hospitality Team, you’ll greet volunteers with a smile, serve up tasty breakfasts, set out lunch, and keep the hub tidy and cheerful. Your role is all about making the hub a place to rest, recharge and connect across the festival weekend, as well as keeping the hot chocolate supplies stocked-up!

  • Welfare Team

Be a guiding light for vulnerable adults and young people! As part of the Welfare Team, you’ll play an important role in ensuring everyone feels safe, supported, and included during the festival. You’ll tackle a variety of enquiries and issues as they pop up around the site, using your patience and people skills to handle each situation with care. Ideally, you’ll have experience in a similar role within a church or community setting, working alongside children and vulnerable adults. Join us in making a real difference and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for everyone!

  • Set-Up Pre Event Support Team

Set the stage for festival magic! As part of the Set Up Pre-Festival Team, you’ll tackle a variety of hands-on tasks from packaging tickets and arranging decorations to prepping spaces for the big weekend. It’s a fun, energetic way to make a real impact before the crowds arrive. Roll up your sleeves, work alongside an awesome team, and help kickstart the festival magic!

  • Cafe Team

Serve smiles, drinks, and good vibes! Get ready to serve up an unforgettable coffee experience on the Cafe Team, whilst making amazing memories and doing something truly unique. Whether you’re a seasoned barista or just love the hustle and bustle of café life, there’s a spot for you! Full training will be provided, so come with a smile and we’ll teach you the rest!

  • Big Church Youth Team

Step into the heart of the action with Big Church Youth!

This is where faith, fun, and friendship collide — an unmissable morning programme made just for youth from year 7-12 to encounter God in real and powerful ways.

As part of the Youth Team, you’ll help create an atmosphere buzzing with worship, laughter, and life-changing moments. From epic worship to inspiring talks and ministry times, Big Church Youth is all about seeing a generation on fire for Jesus. As a youth volunteer you’ll be helping make the morning programme happen, as well as getting stuck into detached youth work shifts around the festival. You’ll be right in the mix — cheering young people on, building connections, and carrying faith for what God’s going to do. 

  • Volunteer Registration Team

Be the friendly face that kicks off the festival! As part of the Volunteer Registration Team, you’ll be the first to welcome our amazing crew of 1,000 volunteers. You’ll help check people in, hand out welcome packs, answer questions, and point everyone in the right direction. If you’re organised, love meeting new people, and thrive in a buzzing, fast-paced environment, this is the perfect role to spread good vibes and set the tone for an unforgettable festival weekend!

  • Volunteer Campsite Team

Help keep the festival campsite safe, welcoming, and running smoothly! As part of the Campsite Management Team, you’ll be on the front line greeting volunteers that are camping, working alongside security to manage the gate, and guiding people to their pitches. You’ll help allocate spaces to make the best use of the site and support safe vehicle and caravan movement. If you’re friendly, calm under pressure, and enjoy keeping things organised, this is the perfect role to make the campsite a great home base for all our festival volunteers!

  • Volunteer Pastoral Team

Be a light and encouragement at the heart of the festival! As part of the Volunteer Pastoral Team, you’ll serve from the Volunteer Hub, creating a warm and faith-filled space where volunteers can be refreshed and supported. Your role is to offer prayer, a listening ear, and spiritual encouragement, while helping to keep the atmosphere joyful and uplifting. If you have a heart for caring for others, love building community, and want to share God’s love through support and hospitality, this is the perfect role to help volunteers feel valued, seen, and spiritually nourished throughout the weekend.

  • Kids Registration Team

Help make check-in a breeze for kids and families! As part of the Kids Registration Team, you’ll welcome children, check them in, and help them feel excited and confident for the day ahead. Your role will also involve communicating clearly with parents around logistics of pick-up/drop-off. You’ll play a key role in making every arrival smooth, fun, and stress-free, setting the tone for a memorable adventure full of fun, faith, and connection! This role will then include serving on our incredible Kids team after registration finishes each morning!
