In April and May, CfaN conducted eleven 5-night Gospel Campaigns in Zambia (Southern Africa) in only two weeks. This incredible effort was made possible through cooperation and dedication. Hundreds of CfaN team members and Bootcamp graduates and more than 97,000 Zambian volunteers worked side by side to make the event possible – a true testament to the power of unity. The teams worked for months to prepare for these events.
Daniel Kolenda traveled to every location to preach for one night, while CfaN-affiliated evangelists carried the other four nights in each place. Each of the eleven cities had a pair of evangelists ministering in most of the meetings. These evangelists were graduates of the CfaN Evangelism Bootcamp. In total, we recorded over 2.6 million people in attendance and 1,040,720 documented decisions for Jesus.
Evangelists Randy Roberts, Daniel Kolenda, and Lukas Repert
Typically, during Gospel campaigns, on Friday night we preach a message about the power of the blood of Jesus, and we burn the barrels for the first time. These are 55-gallon drums with several holes bored in the sides that we have people put “juju” in. This includes any kind of witchcraft — idols, talismans, potions, powders, etc. On Thursday night, Randy Roberts encouraged people to bring any of these things to burn. He also said that they should invite all the witchdoctors they know of to demonstrate who the true God is. Apparently, many of the local pastors and bishops began to feel a bit nervous because of this invitation. You see, the field we were on in Chingola had a history about which we were unaware. The field, Kaunda Square, was known for witchcraft.
Datsun, a well-known local witchdoctor, brought some of his items to burn on Friday evening. However, he didn’t put all his “juju” in, nor did he receive Jesus, so he spent the night demonically tormented. The next day, he brought the rest. We helped him remove it from his body, and he got saved. When he shared his testimony, five more witchdoctors came forward to give their lives to Jesus!
After preaching the Gospel, we burned fetishes, charms, amulets, and idols. An unusually large haul of “juju” was surrendered here as multitudes turned away from witchcraft to serve the living God. Evangelist David Rotärmel then prayed. Utilizing a list of locally known curses and “gods” (provided by the locals) he renounced them and broke their power in Jesus’ name. It was a night of freedom.
Evangelists Levi Lutz and David Rotärmel
This girl went blind in her right eye when she was three months old. But now she can see! She demonstrated by covering her healthy eye and identifying the correct number of fingers when tested.
Can you imagine not being able to do the simplest tasks for five long years? That was Priska’s reality, paralyzed from the waist down. Every attempt to use her legs ended in a painful tumble. But Jesus healed her! Suddenly, she could bend down and move around the stage with ease. When she tested her newfound strength, tears welled up in her eyes, and she raised her hands high in the air.
Doctors diagnosed Irene’s four-month-old unborn baby as dead and prescribed medication for removal. However, after attending the Gospel Campaign, Irene felt her baby move. The next day, doctors confirmed her baby was indeed alive!
Evangelists Brittany Sanderlin and Levi Lutz with Daniel Kolenda
Mongu is a relatively remote place, so it was unexpected to see such crowds. But the hunger, faith, and expectations of the people were so high that they came from far and wide. People from distant villages and other towns camped every night on the campaign field. One woman even came thirty hours by canoe.
Evangelists Gary Smith, Daniel Kolenda, and Alejandro Escobar.
“I started in the city of Mtendere. Right from the beginning, we could feel the hunger of the people. I preached a simple Gospel message, and the response was overwhelming. So many children were responding to the invitation that we struggled to hand out all of the follow-up literature!” – Evangelist Daniel Kolenda
A woman named Elizabeth was totally healed after not being able to walk properly or even stand up since 2019.
Evangelists Jacob Ebersole, Daniel Kolenda, and Evelina Smane.
The original plan was to conduct ten campaigns. But the CfaN team, always preparing for any contingency, went ahead and prepared an eleventh city (just in case one had a problem and had to shift at the last minute). But although we prepared for the worst, the entire process went so smoothly that the backup location became a bonus campaign! With eleven campaigns and only ten days, this meant that Daniel Kolenda would have to minister in two places in one night. On the first night of the second week, Daniel began by preaching the Gospel in Bauleni, leaving as the “on site” evangelists prayed for the sick.
Evangelists Richard Fullwood, Daniel Kolenda, and David Rotärmel.
A man who was bound to a wheelchair for 3 years and a woman unable to walk for 6 years were both healed.
Evangelists Michael Job, Daniel Kolenda, and Deborah and Emmanuel Cohen
Evangelist Daniel Kolenda was rushed by police escort to the campaign site in Ngombe from Bauleni. He arrived just as Evangelist Michael Job had finished preaching. Daniel then taught on faith and healing before praying for the sick. Miracles broke out all over the crowd!
Evangelists Brittany Sanderlin, Joe Turnbull, Daniel Kolenda, and Alejandro Escobar
After the prayer for the sick, Evangelist Brittany Sanderlin interviewed those who were healed. There were many testimonies, including two ladies who had suffered from terrible leg pain that severely limited their ability to walk (one for the past 9 years and the other for the last 7 years). Both were walking, running, jumping, and praising God!
One lady who could not see out of her left eye received her sight.
Daniel Kolenda started his eleven-campaign tour in the Garden District of Lusaka. This event, like several others, took place in a compound where many of the inhabitants rarely, if ever, travel outside. Most have never experienced something like a Gospel campaign before.
A lady walked up the steps and testified that she had suffered from a stroke 2 years ago and was unable to walk as a result, but now she is healed!
Evangelists Gary Smith, Daniel Kolenda, Jared Horton, and Gabriel Garcia
Evangelists Robert Enge, Daniel Kolenda, and Randy Roberts.
When Daniel arrived in Chipata, he was greeted by the local bishops and church leaders. At the back of the line was an elderly man who had been the chairman of the very first campaign CfaN did in Zambia back in 1982. He said how wonderful that campaign was and how many people got saved, how many new churches were planted and how the fruit from that event – 40 years ago – is still evident in Zambia today. Then he said, “We love CfaN campaigns, because they bear fruit that remains.” He added that ever since then, they have been praying for CfaN to come to his city – Chipata.
Evangelists Joe Turnbull, Daniel Kolenda, and Evelina Smane
On the final night, Daniel Kolenda preached to a capacity crowd at “Hero Stadium” in Lusaka, the nation’s capital. It was a glorious finale to the event, with thousands responding to the altar call. There were so many miracle testimonies!
CfaN teamed up with Evangelist Randy Roberts (Radical Walk) to conduct two Gospel campaigns in the capital city of Angola. He was joined by Peter Vandenberg, CfaN’s Vice President, who taught in the accompanying Fire Conference for pastors and church leaders. Angola is a nation that has been through decades of war and suffering, and putting these campaigns on was a real challenge. But God came through and made the impossible possible!
Evangelist Randy Roberts and CfaN Vice President Peter Vandenberg preached and taught.
Jose had just been released from prison and was on his way to buy poison to kill himself when he heard the noise of the campaign. He decided to go and listen – and Jesus touched his heart. Instead of dying, he found new life when he chose to follow Jesus.
“God met their hunger with His power. We saw so many miracles every night that we could not get to them all. So, I just began to bring the people whose miracles had been verified on stage in a line so I could shake their hands and bless them. We didn’t have time for everyone to give their testimony so this was the least I could do. This last night was no different. After many people gave their testimony, we lined up 20-30 people on the stage whose blind eyes had been opened, whose deaf ears now heard, who had their tumors disappear, and who experienced many other signs of the power of God.” - Evangelist Randy Roberts

Over 60% of the entire population of Africa is under 25 years old. At this crucial time, young people are being influenced by many things, and the choices they make will impact the rest of their lives. Part of the strategy for the Decade of Double Harvest is to reach youth around the world. In 2023, we held over 5,900 youth campaigns in 32 countries where over 1.6 million young people decided to follow Jesus. This year, we focused on Kenya with our Youth Campaigns, where we saw over one million decisions for Christ!
There are campaigns happening all over the world in collaboration with CfaN Evangelism Alliance members. The harvest workers are multiplying, and so is the fruit. Here are just a few of the events that took place this year.
The Nights of Hope team organized an open-air Gospel campaign in true CfaN style, but this time, in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. Bootcamp graduate David Rotärmel (Reviving the World) brought what he learned in Africa back to Europe with worship, Gospel preaching, altar calls, praying for the sick, and testimonies. 501 people gave their “yes” to Jesus, this is the greatest miracle!
Hundreds of people heard the Gospel each night at Come Alive Helsinki led by Bootcamp graduates Matias Toivainen (Arm of Grace International) and Lukas Abildsten (Jesus to All Nations). Local teams led joyful worship, and there was much dancing, especially to celebrate the 41 salvations and many healings. Each miracle means someone’s life is changed forever.
Bootcamp graduate Ester Tshimuanga (Nations Impact) planned her first Gospel campaign in Techiman, Ghana. Ester and the team did a three-week Gospel invasion and a five-day Gospel campaign. In total during the initiative, they conducted 121 outreaches, preached to 60,221 people (more than half of the city), and saw a total of 25,025 documented salvations (almost one quarter of the city).
Pastors in the Lake Constance region saw what God was doing through Nights of Hope and wanted the same move in their region. Bootcamp graduates David Rotärmel (Reviving the World) and Lukas Repert (God’s Power), along with a great team including the Germany School of Evangelism students, flooded the region with the Gospel culminating in four glorious nights of salvation, healings, and deliverance.
CfaN USA Outreach Director Joe Turnbull, with the America Shall be Saved team and Evangelism Alliance members, set up a Gospel stage right on the beach for Virginia Beach Alive! This was the third in a series of city-wide Gospel events shaking Virginia, resulting in a combined total of over 2,500 salvations. When Evangelist Daniel Kolenda preached, many young people ran to the altar weeping, with powerful testimonies of healing and freedom. America shall be saved!
The CfaN Evangelism Alliance held a Congress in Orlando, Florida to strategize reaching nations and build connections to minister together. Evangelist Kolenda announced the vision for 2024 to host 50 campaigns from Cape Town to Cairo, in honor of 50 years of ministry and Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke’s vision of a blood washed Africa. He called all CfaN evangelists to join in this call and sign a declaration of unity at the Gala concluding the event.
Fire Camps bring together about 50 to 100 students for one week of encounter and equipping. Students learn how to preach CfaN style and practice on outreach, overcoming their fears. They also learn identity as sons and daughters of God. The vision is to equip families of evangelists in every nation to preach the Gospel boldly in their communities. Graduates can join the CfaN Evangelism Alliance and participate in global initiatives. In 2023, we had Fire Camps in Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Australia, and Africa.
Throughout the year, we held four Schools of Evangelism in Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa; Hanau, Germany; and Columbus, Ohio, USA. At SOEs, students are equipped to preach the Gospel and plan Gospel campaigns especially in their country or continent. They are trained by Evangelist Daniel Kolenda, Levi Lutz, and many others in this unique and comprehensive program. Then, graduates are invited into the CfaN Evangelism Alliance, our network of evangelists working together to pull in the greatest harvest.
Our fifth Evangelism Bootcamp class graduated with 118 students from 14 nations. This elite training program prepares evangelists to reach multitudes through Gospel campaigns with classroom training and outreaches in Orlando, Florida, USA, followed by a three-week initiation trip to Africa. This year’s initiation took place in Uganda. The Bootcamp is a fulfillment of Evangelist Daniel Kolenda’s mandate from the Lord to multiply evangelists and collaborate for the harvest. This strategy is bearing incredible fruit around the world.
In Uganda, Bootcampers preached the Gospel in villages, at marketplaces, at youth campaigns, and on Gospel trucks. They were full of joy and passion as they put what they learned into practice. God moved in mighty ways with salvation and healing!
During the three weeks, 152,203 people made documented decisions for Christ.
In 2024, as we celebrate 50 years of ministry, we will put everything to the greatest test CfaN has faced so far: we are aiming for the prize of 50 campaigns and 10 million documented decisions for Christ, bringing the total to 100 million since CfaN began. We will go from Cape Town to Cairo! Prophecy will be fulfilled. We will call on all 1,700+ evangelists and organizers to put their hands to the plow. It will require “all hands on deck.” But we believe it will not only be the greatest harvest we’ve ever seen, but it will also spark the next wave of evangelism far beyond CfaN.
Will you partner with us to bring this vision to life? Your donation will help to bring millions to Jesus in 2024! Thank you, from all our hearts to yours, for being a friend to this ministry.
